.... thanks for the link :ok: ... and from that page ....

"" The only slight catch is that the order window will close on March 31st, 2023, effectively making this a limited edition run. As a result, if you’re interested you will need to get in touch with your nearest PRS dealer to make sure you are able to snag one! "

That's only 10 days away :x

I emailed Thomann asking if there is a deadline of 31 March for ordering, only 10 days away. They usually respond in a couple of days.

So Thomann have confirmed ... last date for ordering is next week, Friday 31st March.

Delivery due in November.

I was only enquiring about the baritone Se 277, but I am guessing the last order date applies to all of the PRS SE 2023 range.

No idea about the wood library Custom 24s.

Yes, it looks like they are still available to order.

I am curious about the baritone, but I really don't like this process of having to order 8 months before delivery date. That's a long time and anything could happen in the mean time.

It's bad enough being a lefty player, and having to buy unseen and unplayed .. but now with many months of waiting added to that ... no thanks. I did that with a Schecter PT Special, got a good one on the second attempt, it took almost a year for that !

The PT special was a prime example, I read the whole thing and felt bad honestly. Ultimately, the baritone will be worth the wait I'm sure. I played the right handed version already and it is a nice guitar tbh. It is quite different as you would expect, but in a good way!

I like the fact that some of the lefty SE will hit the market soon, giving more variety etc.. and a few different pattern necks: wide fat and wide thin (looking at you, Pascal)

8 months is a stretch for sure. Anything can happen in that time frame. I myself wouldn't put down money for that long, just to see another great guitar drop in the meantime.. Anyway, NAMM is a week from now innit? :)

The impression I get from youtube videos is that most PRS pickups used in the SE range are high output and bright sounding .. the exact opposite of what I go for these days.

It will be interesting to see if Thomann or others will get some of these in "for stock"

I enquired from them about the new Sire Larry Carlton range in lefty, and the response was that if you want one it has to be ordered .. so they will not appear for sale on the Thomann site, or any other site in the EU as Thomann seem to have exclusive rights on Sire guitars and basses for the EU.

There is Andertons in the UK but Brexit has f'd that up :D
